790 gasket remover can remove glue, oil, paint, carbon and other surface residual stains. No corrosion to aluminum. However, it should not be used on plastic, linoleum or synthetic fibers.

LOCTITE® SF 790 is a gray to off-white liquid methylene chloride solvent in aerosol sprayers designed to remove baking chemical gaskets, gasket adhesives, and conventional gasket materials from metal surfaces. It works by removing pre-cut gasket adhesives and field forming chemical gaskets. Its aerosol sprayer form allows it to be sprayed on complex shapes with maximum penetration.
