Loctite THREAD LOCKING AGENT 201 is a touch dry pre-coated film for threaded fasteners with excellent temperature resistance
. The microcapsules contained in the coating can rupture during assembly, releasing an active ingredient that triggers the curing process.
Typical application
Avoid loosening of threaded fasteners due to vibration and seal threaded assemblies.
Relationship between curing speed and clearance
Large gaps should be avoided and the threads should be closely matched to achieve the requirements of breaking microcapsules and curing.
