LOCTITE® 241 is a methacrylate based thread locking adhesive designed for use on small threads of moderate strength. The standard initial fixation times on steel, brass and stainless steel are 35, 12 and 240 minutes, respectively. Low viscosity and providing 11.5Nm breaking torque, this product is suitable for fasteners requiring normal removal using standard hand tools.

and/or visible light of sufficient intensity. Surface cure is
enhanced by exposure to UV light in the 220 to 260 nm range.
Cure rate and ultimate depth of cure depend on light intensity,
spectral distribution of the light source, exposure time and light
transmittance of the substrate through which the light must
pass.

required to develop a shear strength of 0.1 N/mm².
