LOCTITE 511 is designed for locking and sealing metal threaded pipes and fittings. The product can cure quickly when there is no air between tightly bonded metal surfaces
LOCTITE 511 is a white to off-white, versatile, low-strength, thixotropic methacrylate based thread sealer. When restricted to a maximum M80/R3 “thread, it can be cured in the absence of air by contact with metal. Suitable for all metal joints with breaking torque of 6 Nm. The viscosity is 9,000-22,000 mPa·s and the operating temperature is -55 to +150ºC. The DVGW is certified.

The product cures between two tightly fitting metal surfaces in an air – free environment. High temperature resistance up to 230℃, can be used for cylinder head double screw lock, need heating and use tools when disassembling.
LOCTITE 272 is designed for permanent use. Long locking and sealing threaded fasteners. When held in place without air between tightly fitted metal surfaces, the product cures and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. Typical applications include locking and sealing with large bolts and studs (M25 and larger).
